When: March 15, 2003 - Mark your calendar! You don't want to miss it!

Directions: Mountain City, TN, is located in the extreme northeast corner of TN. US Highway 421 comes into town from the south (Boone, NC) and from the northwest (Bristol, TN). TN 67 comes into town from the west (Elizabethton, TN) and TN 91 comes from the north (Damascus, VA).

Here are the directions from 2 directions:

  1. Coming from the Mountain Empire Motel located on US 421: Turn right at the second stoplight onto So Church Street (Welcome Center is on the left and Dad's Restraunt is on the right). Follow this street through town (through 1 stoplight) to Fairgrounds Lane. There is a big sign on the left side of the road for Johnson County High School. Turn right and follow Fairgrounds Lane to the end (about 2 blocks) and circle to the right around the football field. Lots of parking is available; however, park as close as you can to the flag pole as the only entrance that will be open is to the left of the flag pole. We'll have small signs up on the corner of TN91/No Church Street and Fairgrounds Lane and at other spots along this street and at the door. We'll try to make it obvious how to get there, although it sounds more complicated that it really is. The distance from the motel is exactly 2 miles to the flag pole.
  2. Coming from the north out of Damascus, VA, on TN 91, your first landmark will the big sign on the right for Johnson County High School, and turn left (the only way to turn) onto Fairgrounds Lane. You are approaching town at this point, but not into a business section; still quite residential.

Type of Show: OPEN! This show will be 2 shows in 1.
